Dr Ruth Vine is the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Mental Health, in the Department of Health and Aged Care and graciously accepted our invitation to an “In conversation” style webinar. On the cusp of her retirement, Dr Ruth Vine joined Mental Health Australia CEO, Carolyn Nikoloski, in conversation to reflect on Ruth’s extensive career, and to hear some of her insights on the mental health reform that she has seen and led through her time in the sector.

Event: Members Policy Hub - Webinar: National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No.1) Bill 2024
Mental Health Australia members are invited to join a Policy Hub webinar on the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. 1) Bill 2024 (the NDIS Bill). Ms Julie Yeend, Branch Manager, NDIS Governance, Policy and Legislation at the Department of Social Services will provide an overview of the Bill. Members will have the opportunity to ask questions about the Bill, and inform Mental Health Australia’s submission to the Senate Inquiry on this proposed legislation.
